Welcome to Slipstream Boating (“Slipstream,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using Slipstream, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Our Services
Slipstream provides an online platform that helps users discover boating options — including rentals, clubs, marinas, and boats for sale. We connect users with independent businesses (“Partners”), but Slipstream does not own, operate, or control the boats or services offered by Partners.
2. User Responsibilities
By using Slipstream, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting inquiries.
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes.
- Not interfere with or disrupt the platform.
- Accept full responsibility for any boating activities you undertake through a Partner.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Slipstream.
3. Partner Responsibilities
Partners listing on Slipstream agree to:
- Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information about their services.
- Maintain all required licenses, permits, and insurance.
- Be solely responsible for customer service, safety, and fulfillment of their offerings.
4. No Guarantee or Endorsement
Slipstream is a discovery and connection platform. We do not:
- Guarantee the accuracy of Partner listings.
- Endorse, operate, or assume responsibility for Partner services.
- Control safety, quality, pricing, availability, or legal compliance of Partner offerings.
Any transactions or agreements are solely between you and the Partner.
5. Payments
If Slipstream enables payments in the future:
- Fees, taxes, and terms will be disclosed at checkout.
- Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
- Refunds and cancellations will follow the Partner’s policy unless otherwise stated.
6. SMS / Mobile Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number to Slipstream Boating and opting in to our SMS program — whether through a form on our website, by texting a keyword such as START, or by another consent method — you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from Slipstream Boating at the mobile number you provided. These SMS Terms supplement, and are part of, these Terms of Service.
6.1 Program Description
Messages you may receive include transactional messages (such as inquiry confirmations, listing claim updates, account notifications, and booking confirmations) and informational or marketing messages (such as new listings, partner offers, and platform updates).
6.2 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity, inquiries, and account preferences.
6.3 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Slipstream Boating does not charge for messages, but standard carrier charges may apply for messages sent and received, depending on your mobile plan.
6.4 Opting Out
You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from the program. You may opt back in at any time by replying START.

6.6 Consent Not Required for Purchase
Your consent to receive text messages from Slipstream Boating is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of using the Slipstream Boating platform.
6.7 Privacy
Information you provide as part of the SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will only be used to deliver the SMS services you have requested and to support those services (for example, sharing with our SMS service provider solely to deliver messages).
6.8 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to participate in the SMS program. By opting in, you represent that you are the account holder of the mobile number you provide, or that you have authorization from the account holder to enroll the number.
6.9 Carriers and Delivery
Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6.10 Changes and Termination
Slipstream Boating reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS program, or your participation in it, at any time and without notice. We may also update these SMS Terms from time to time. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Slipstream (logos, text, graphics, design, software) is owned by Slipstream or its licensors and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Slipstream is not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising out of or related to use of the Services or Partner offerings.
- Slipstream’s total liability will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid directly to Slipstream in the past 12 months (whichever is greater).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slipstream and its affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your interactions with Partners, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the revised Terms with a new effective date. Continued use of Slipstream means you accept the updated Terms.
