Log Cabin Resort main boat rental comes with a captain, fishing rods, bait or binoculars for people who wish to see the abundant sea life on the West side of the Prince of Wales Island. We offer 3 days fishing or exploring/whale watching, picture taking along with 4 nights in one of our fully furnished Sea Side Suites that have full kitchens. Guests that take the fishing package have their catch cleaned, cut, vacuum packed, boxed and frozen. We fish salmon, ling cod, yellow eye but do not fish halibut. At no extra charge, we will help you set and pull shrimp pots. Guests who wish a D.I.Y. package get a Lund Skiff powered by a Yamaha Outboard along with the Sea Side Suite, fish vacuum packed, boxed and frozen. We will also head you in the direction where fish are being caught. This package, like the one above has four nights in one of our suites and three days skiff use. We have guests who have booked with us year after year for up to 38 years in a row. Most of the fisher people who come up have stayed with us many years previously. This year we have a few dates open. Please call 907 755 2205 in late March or April, or 907 401 3400 at any time with questions or to book your adventure. Alaska time is 4 hrs. earlier than EST. To get here, people fly from Seattle to Ketchikan, then fly to our island via Seaplanes of Alaska. We provide transportation from the Klawock Airport to our lodge which is just 1.5 miles away.
