4. Mobile Information and SMS Communications
This section describes how Slipstream Boating handles information related to our SMS text messaging program.
- Opt-in: We collect your mobile phone number and SMS consent only when you affirmatively opt in — for example, by checking a consent box on a form on slipstreamboating.com, or by texting a keyword such as START to a Slipstream Boating number.
- Use: Your mobile number and opt-in data are used solely to deliver SMS messages you have consented to receive, including inquiry confirmations, listing claim updates, account notifications, booking confirmations, and informational or marketing messages from Slipstream Boating.
- No third-party marketing sharing: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are never sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Subprocessors: We share mobile information only with subprocessors strictly necessary to operate the SMS program (for example, our SMS service provider, which delivers messages on our behalf). These subprocessors are contractually restricted to using the information only to provide the SMS service.
- Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Message frequency varies.
- Opting out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP or contact info@slipstreamboating.com.
- Consent is not a condition: Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Slipstream Boating or of using the Slipstream Boating platform.
- Carrier disclaimer: Carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For the full terms of our SMS messaging program, please review the Slipstream Boating Terms of Service.
